Power of Social Media – Closes a London Station
Flash mob mimics T Mobile ad – and closes a London train station
There should not be any more doubt about the power of Social Media. Watch the picture above. They all gathered at a London Station (Liverpool) just to dance to a T-Mobile Ad. They all got the invitation from a 22-year-old Facebook user who identified himself only as Crazzy Eve.
One of London’s largest railway stations was forced to close after 13,000 people congregated to mimic a mobile phone advert in an event publicised on Facebook.
The crowd, who were all listening to music through headphones, broke into dance at 7pm on Friday night in a scene which aped the advert which was filmed at the station last month.
